Back in October 2014, I shared a post titled “Activism as Art“, about my involvement in protecting the Olympic Peninsula bioregion from Navy War Games. This week, almost one year later, sixty people from around Western Washington State gathered at the Olympic National Forest Headquarters in Olympia to personally deliver a petition with over 120,000 voices united from around the world. It was powerful.

O you who come after, help us remember: we are your ancestors. Fill us with gladness for the work that must be done.
